About Pam

Pam Livingston was born, raised, married, and widowed in Connecticut. She earned her business management degree from the University of Connecticut (UConn) and went on to enjoy a distinguished 33-year career in IT Security at Aetna, retiring in 2017. Pam raised two children in Connecticut, instilling in them a love of learning and the arts. Her daughter, a UConn graduate, accepted a job in Hawaii, prompting Pam to make the bold move to the islands—a place she had never visited—later that same year. Her son continues to reside in Connecticut.

A lifelong supporter of the arts, Pam has attended numerous music and theater productions across Hawai’i and the mainland, often offering financial support and other contributions to performing arts organizations. Her passion for the arts deepened as she watched her daughter flourish as a violinist, vocalist, and thespian.

Since settling in Hawai‘i, Pam has immersed herself in community service. She is an active member of the Waikoloa Village Association Outreach Committee, serves as the Trip Coordinator for the Waikoloa Senior Center, and has held leadership roles, including as a former Girl Scout Troop Leader in Waimea. In recognition of her dedication to the arts, Pam now serves on the Board of Directors for the Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra, where she continues to champion music and cultural enrichment in her community.
